Horoscopes:
Moment of truth
By Imhotep
Creative thinkers come out ahead of the game my dear Scales, as people born under the Cardinal Air sign of Libra (23 Sep-23 Oct) are sometimes called. People born under this sensitive and loving Sun sign are some of the most gifted creative thinkers of the zodiac. February is the time for you my dear Scales to think and conjure up wonders.
But remember not to think alone. By giving and taking your team invents something different and better than the individual members could do on their own.
Who said anything about success being quiet and lazy? Collaboration is just as noise as conflict. The difference is that everybody wears a smile. Clearly you found the magic formula. Keep it up.
And, remember to be grateful. Count your blessings. Give thanks were thanks are due. February is the month for you.
Ruled by Mars, Eagles, as people born under the Fixed Water sign of Scorpio (24 Oct-23 Nov) are sometimes called, are a restive lot. You, my dear Eagles, are inquisitive and yearn for the truth and all the right answers. In February, all the answers to your many questions will be found and you'll have fun sorting things out. All will become clearer, just be a little patient.
The answer to your dilemma, my dear Eagles, is staring you right in the face. You'd prefer instant results, I know. But what you get is the first step in a slow process. You might as well talk about this with a friend or family member. Everyone will know eventually.
Eagles must learn how to be patient in the weeks ahead.
Centaurs as people born under the Mutable Fire sign of Sagittarius (24 Nov-23 Dec) are sometimes called are in for turbulent weeks ahead especially on the emotional front. Women Archers, as Sagittarians are also called, are especially susceptible to emotional upheavals in February.
Don't venture out of the house, my dear Archers, if you're not armed and ready for emotional outbursts. Carry disposable tissues and your mobile phones just in case you need to reach out for your best friend at a moment's notice.
Pour your hearts out to those who care to listen sympathetically. Cry buckets. Cry and don't hold back those tears. It'll do you plenty of good.
You've always been good at expressing yourself, my dear Archers, but by mid-February you'd be truly excellent at it. Cry as often as necessary.
Archers are active and adventurous people. But in February Imhotep recommends a rest for Sagittarians. Try the gentler pursuits, like messing about in boats, or hopping on and off feluccas for leisurely Nilotic pastimes. There is a good chance that such moments might become some of the most unforgettable experiences of your life. But you'll have to wait, my dear Sagittarians, a little longer for the magic moment you so desire.
When I first introduced this column, I advised people to check their Ascendant, Moon, Love, Passion and Power signs, because these influences either profoundly moderate or accentuate a person's Sun sign attributes.
Sagittarians with Scorpio connections are in for a very exciting time in February. For those Sagittarians with Scorpio in the Ascendant the workplace will become a hive of activity. Indeed, the peace and quiet recommended for other Archers does not apply to the Centaurs with Scorpio connections. Those Archers with Scorpio Moon signs are in for a most tantalising love life in the weeks ahead -- especially around 14 February.
For other Archers, passion and romance will have to be shelved for the moment. Take heart though, love is in the air as we approach the northern Hemisphere's Spring.
My dear Archers, if you are going through hell, keep going, as Winston Churchill -- an insightful Sagittarian -- once said. He also once remarked: "Never, never, never give up." So don't.
