Former Zamalek defender Beshir is being detained by his Turkish club Rizespor after saying he wanted to leave. Rizespor have reportedly taken 's passport and have put him in a hotel in Istanbul under club guard to stop him from travelling to Egypt, writes Nashwa Abdel-Tawab After his solid performance with Zamalek in the 2003/2004 season, became the target of two Turkish clubs, Rizespor and Konyaspor, who expressed their desire to sign him in July 2004.
