The photographer takes us along his journey in which he accompanied the Egyptian national team from the preparation camps until the World Cup dream in 2018. A selection of his best pictures, stars in the national team as well as international legendary players, taken throughout this trip will be on display at the gallery (10 April - 9 May).

Mashrabia 15 Mahmoud Bassiouny St, Downtown, Tel 02 25750353, Daily except Fridays from 11am to 9pm “Roznama 7th”, Roznama is a periodical competition and exhibition for contemporary visual art, organized by Medrar for Contemporary Art, whose intent is to function as an art and cultural incubator to nurturing the growth of artists, to boost their technical capabilities, and spread their artworks. After last year's intermission, Roznama 7th breaks new ground showcasing 56 young artists developing new and experimental media arts practices to give birth to a unique artistic and cultural experience. Roznama is a periodical competition and exhibition for contemporary visual art by young Egyptians. This year, Roznama received over four hundred applications, the largest submission count to date. Out of the works, 56 were selected to be exhibited across three primary art spaces across downtown Cairo: Medrar for Contemporary Art, Townhouse Gallery, and Mashrabia Gallery (Annex). The works selected traverse an array of mediums, themes, and concepts, resulting in an exceptionally varied exhibition. Participants are comprised of diverse backgrounds, including mid-career professional artists, students, and novices. The works on display offer a glimpse into the broad range of artistic production taking place in Cairo today. The exhibition, curated by Mohamed Allam and Mariam Elnozahy, is supported by the British Council and the French Institute in Cairo (3-30 April).

Palm Central Palm Hills, 6 October City “Figurative Encounters”, a duo exhibition by painter Salah Taher and sculptor Ahmed Askalany. Enjoy a dialogue between these two artists and witness a special collection from Taher's work on display for the first time ever. The exhibition showcases different interpretations of figures by artists that have mastered the two mediums of painting and sculpting (10-20 April).
