Fri 11, 8pm: Celebrating 150 years since the inauguration of the Suez Canal, Egypt and France announced 2019 “France-Egypt Cultural Year” presenting a series of cultural events starting with “Independanse x Egypte” contemporary dance show. It features six dancers from the Paris Opera Ballet Company accompanied by six dancers from the Cairo Opera Ballet Company. “Independanse x Egypte” show is choreographed by Grégory Gaillard with music by Florent Astrudeau inspired by the magic of the River Nile.
Sat 12, 8pm: The Cairo Symphony Orchestra, conducted by maestro Hisham Gabr and featuring violinist Abada Ahmed presents “Nordic Flair” concert performing Aziz Al-Shawan's intermezzo from Anas Al-Wogoud, P. de Sarasate's Carmen Fantasy and J.Sibelius's Symphony No.2.

The collective's music is a fusion of Oriental tunes, energetic and edgy electronic beats and Eastern dances.
