Tel 02 25784494/Mob. 0100 1704554 “Amshoq”, through two series of artworks Mustafa El-Husseiny explores themes that have had a strong impact on him throughout his life. In his “Amshoq” series, in which he used cardboard as the canvas for his drawings, he addresses the issue of subordinates following rigorous orders blindly imposed on them by their superiors. In his second series “Imam Al-Shafi'I”, he shows us what he came across during his walks around the cemetery of the City of the Dead while searching for a way to reconnect with his late father (16 September -18 October). Mashrabia Annex, 15 Mahmoud Bassiony St, Downtown “The Free Thinker Sees” by Abbass Al-Kadhim (Baghdad, Iraq), he makes paintings, photos, drawings and sculptures. He creates compositions or settings that generate tranquil poetic images that stand on the edge between recognition and alienation (16 September -18 October).
