Mashrabia 8 Champollion St, Downtown, Tel 02 2578 4494/ 0100 1704554 Main Hall “My Favourite Things 3”, along the lines of last years' group exhibitions ‘My Favorite Things' 1 and 2, the public gets the chance to discover a new group of artists who manipulate discarded materials to create ingenious artworks in the hope of continuously enhancing people's interest in recycled art. The exhibition gathers works of four young and promising women artists: Kamila Bassioni, Rania Atef and Afrodite W. El-Seesy who have already taken part together in the From Rags to Riches Project (FRTR), a pilot project wholly devoted to upcycled public art in Cairo, curated by Mashrabia Gallery in 2017. The four artists experiment with paper, cardboard, glass, and wood to give shape to a suggestive landscape where tiny buildings and cars stand next to expanses of green and forest-like structures (closing 19 July).

UBUNTU 20 Hassan Sabry St, (entrance from Ibn Zinki St), Zamalek, Tel 0100 2792223 New Space, First Foor “UBUNTU Revisited”, the annual end-of-season group exhibition featuring the works of Amgad Al-Tohamy, Al-Husseiny Ali, Eman Barakat, Halim Yacoub, Hayam Abdel-Baqy, Mohamed Khedr, Nevine Farghaly, Rawda Nour, Sahar Al Amir, Tayseer Hamed, Hannah Stevenson and many more. The exhibition will run for the duration of the summer with regular updates (6 June-14 August).
Zamalek Art gallery 11 Brazil St, Zamalek, Tel 02 2735 1240 Venue I & Venue II “Masterpieces XVII”, is the gallery's summer collective art exhibition. For the seventeenth consecutive year, the gallery presents an exclusive collection of paintings and sculptures for its most prominent artists as well as its young talents. This year's three new guests of honour are Abdel-Hady Al-Wechahi, Saleh Reda and Karim Al-Hayawan (24 June- 31 August).
