After the 1-0 loss to Libyan side Ahly Benghazi, Ahly has received a much needed boost by the news that their fans will attend the second leg game of the CAF Champions League round of 16 in Gouna next week. Egypt's Ahly lost 1-0 to Ahly Benghazi in Tunisia in the first leg on Friday anf the return leg is scheduled for 29 March. "The second leg game in the 16th round will be played at Gouna stadium," read a statement on the Ahly's official website on Friday. Gouna is a Red Sea resort 430km away from the capital. "2000 fans have been given the green light to attend the game despite the crowd ban in Egypt," the statement added. Egypt's El-Ashry praises Libyan players Under the helm of Egyptian coach Tarek El-Ashry, Libyan side Ahly Benghazi was able to gain a home field advantage for the CAF Champions League group stage after beating Egypt's Ahly 1-0 in Tunisia on Friday. "The tie isn't decided yet as we still have another game in Gouna and we know it will be very difficult," El-Ashry was quoted as saying on Ahly's official website. "Egypt's Ahly will work hard to win the second leg game to reach the group stage," he added. "I am happy for beating the CAF Champions League title holders as it will encourage my team's players to win the second leg in Egypt." Ahly Benghazi's tactician concluded.
