Egypt's promising midfielder Mahmoud Kahraba continued his impressive start to the season with a fifth goal in as many games as Luzern lost 2-1 to Thun in the Swiss league on Saturday. The 19-year-old Kahraba scored in Luzern's 2-0 victory over Zurich, a 1-1 draw with Young Boys, a 1-0 victory over Lausanne and a 2-1 win over Grasshoppers. The attacking midfielder played the 90 minutes during his side's 2-1 away loss to Thun as he managed to score Luzern's only goal five minute before the final whistle. Kahraba's fans shared congratulations with him through his Twitter account after scoring his fifth goal Saturday and the player thanked them. He is the second Egyptian player in the Swiss league alongside Mohamed El-Nenny who plays for FC Basel. Kahraba was part of Egypt's squad for the Ghana clash in the first leg of the World Cup qualifying playoff. However, he was kept on the bench as the Pharaohs were hammered 6-1 in Kumasi. Luzern are fourth in the Swiss league table with 32 points, seven behind leaders Basel.
