Zamalek midfielder Nour El-Sayed has been banned for three matches by the disciplinary committee of the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) for hitting an opponent during Zamalek's match against Petrojet on Sunday. The player received a red card in the 62nd minute of the game after elbowing Petrojet striker Mohamed Ragab in the stomach. El-Sayed will miss the Whites' encounters against Qanah, Beni Suef Telephones and Wadi Degla. It will pose a tough problem for coach Ahmed "Mido" Hossam, who lacks center midfielders on his squad. The 30-year-old El-Sayed has been a regular starter for Zamalek and their most consistent holding midfielder. Mido will have to weigh his options which include Hani Said or Ahmed Tawfik as a potential replacement.
