Mido's Zamalek draw 2-2 with Petrojet in exciting Egyptian league game
Mido's second game in charge of Zamalek see his side play out a 2-2 draw with Group B leaders Petojet in the Egyptian Premier League on Sunday

Zamalek, facing their first genuine test under rookie coach Mido, played out an exciting 2-2 draw with Group B leaders Petrojet in an Egyptian Premier League game that saw both sides finish with ten men.
An own goal by Peter Udo put Zamalek in front inside the first minute but Mohamed Ragab drew Petrojet level with a powerful header on 10 minutes.
Petrojet's Said Kamal was sent off midway through the first half but their numerical disadvantage did not really count as they went ahead via another goal from Ragab eight minutes after the restart.
At the other end, Zamalek midfielder Nour El-Sayed also received his marching orders but the hosts were equally unaffected by the dismissal, restoring parity through a controversial penalty from substitute Mohamed Ibrahim 14 minutes from time.
Zamalek, who beat promoted Minya in Mido's first game in charge after he replaced Helmi Toulan in the dugout, are third in Group B with 10 points, four behind leaders Petrojet who played a game more.
Ismaily, who slumped to a 2-1 defeat by Wadi Degla earlier in the day, lie second with 13 points.
Zamalek opened the scoring after 32 seconds for the league's fastest goal this season when Ghanaian defender Udo diverted a left-wing cross into his own net.
But Ragab brought Petrojet level on 10 minutes when he ghosted behind the dozing backline to powerfully head home a corner at the far post. The visitors' cause was not helped by the dismissal of Saied Kamal, who received a second booking for a foul on Zamalek's marauding full-back Hazem Emam.
But Zamalek still struggled to create goal-scoring chances, with attacking midfielders Moemen Zakareya, Omar Gaber and debutant Youssef Ibrahim unable to feed lone striker Ahmed Gaafar.
Gaafar was sluggish himself despite being included in the starting at the expense of the lively Ahmed Ali, who handed Mido a winning debut by scoring the solitary goal against Minya.
Petrojet caught Zamalek by surprise early in the second half, with Ragab sneaking between two defenders to latch onto a fine headed pass and lash home from close range.
Numbers were evened up when Zamalek midfielder El-Sayed received a straight red card for elbowing an opponent but the White Knights still improved following the introduction of Mauritanian striker Dominique Da Silva and Mohamed Ibrahim.
The physical menace of Da Sliva, who made his debut after joining from arch-rivals Ahly, unsettled Petrojet's backline and led to the penalty which gifted Zamalek an equalizer with 14 minutes remaining.
He went down under a minimal contact in the area and Ibrahim calmly converted the penalty.
In some frenetic minutes towards the end, a header by Dominique struck the post and Petrojet's Mostafa Shebeita fired wide with the goal gaping following a breakaway.
