Squash: Egypt's Shabana wins Tournament of Champions at Gaultier expense
Amr Shabana beats world number two Gregory Gaultier 3-0 to win the annual Tournament of Champions in New York

Egypt's Amr Shabana won the annual Tournament of Champions in superb fashion, beating Frenchman Gregory Gaultier 3-0 in the final in New York's Grand Central Terminal.
Shabana, who was the world number one for over 30 consecutive months from 2006 to 2008, put in a superb display against current world number two Gaultier to claim his first World Series event title since 2011.
"Greg wasn't maybe at his 100 per cent best tonight but I took full advantage of that," Shabana was quoted as saying by the Professional Squash Association website.
"I can remember so many times when he has beaten me 3/0 when I have been playing my best so I'm happy to win today especially as it has been eight years since I last won the title here and playing a final here is such an amazing experience.
"Everything came together for me this week. You can do all the training you want but you still need things to go your way and that's what happened for me this week so I'm going to remember it for a long time."
Shabana, who is ninth in the PSA rankings, has also defeated world number one Nick Matthew in the quarters and world number five James Willstrop in the semis to complete a remarkable victory.
