Ahly have officially extended the contract of their first choice goalkeeper Sherif Ekramy for another two seasons without disclosing the financial details. "Ekramy left the financial fees of his new contract to the club's management after extending his stay for another two years," read a statement on Ahly's official website on Sunday. "The goalkeeper has expressed his desire to stay at the team until the end of his career," Ahly football director Sayed Abdel-Hafiz was quoted as saying on the club's official website. The 30-year-old is Ahly's first choice goalkeeper and has taken part in the team's most crucial games in the CAF Champions League as well as the domestic competitions. Ekramy, who joined Ahly on 2009 from Egyptian Premier League outfit Gouna, played for Dutch side Feyenoord but played little first team football.
