An investigation justice referred on Saturday morning ousted president Mohamed Morsi and 132 co-defendants to criminal court in the case of escaping from Wadi El-Natroun prison during the January uprising of 2011. Morsi, members of the Palestinian militant group Hamas, the Lebanese Hezbollah and the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood are accused of storming prisons and murder of police officers on 28 January, 2011. The ousted president is currently standing trial on charges he incited murder of protesters at the presidential palace in December 2012. Morsi also faces espionage charges in a different case.
