Morsi supporters plan marches to army, police facilities
Despite warnings by military, supporters of deposed president Mohamed Morsi plan to march to military and police buildings in Cairo Friday night

Supporters of deposed president Mohamed Morsi are planning to march to Egypt's military and police facilities in Cairo Friday night, in defiance of warnings from the army to avoid approaching its facilities earlier this week.
Three rallies are to be launched Friday night. The pro-Morsi demonstrators plan to march to the police's National Security headquarters in Nasr City, the defence ministry in the Abbasiya neighbourhood and the Republican Guard headquarters in the Heliopolis district, the Muslim Brotherhood's Freedom and Justice Party said via Facebook.
Hundreds of pro-Morsi protesters marched to the headquarters of the military intelligence on Tuesday. The protest, however, passed peacefully.
In a statement on Monday, the military had urged protesters not to go near military establishments and specifically not to approach the military intelligence building, saying that such actions could put protesters at risk.
The military intelligence building is very close to the Rabaa Al-Adawiya Mosque in Cairo's Nasr City district, where Morsi supporters have been staging a large sit-in since 28 June.
Mass protests broke out Friday to press on with the demand to return Morsi to power and reverse the effects of what pro-Morsi protesters describe as a "bloody coup."
Supporters of Morsi – who was deposed by the military on 3 July following mass protests against him – have held daily protests since his ouster.
At least 50 pro-Morsi protesters were killed at a Republican Guard headquarters demonstration on 8 July.
After Morsi's ouster, head of the High Constitutional Court Adly Mansour was appointed interim president and a roadmap was drawn by the military and Morsi's opposition outlining a plan for making constitutional amendments and holding parliamentary and presidential elections.
