Uruguayand Napoli striker Edinson Cavani landed in Paris on Monday morning and underwent his medicals at the Pitié- Salpêtrière hospital, according to local media. The 26-year-old striker is expected to ink a five-year deal with PSG on Monday night according to French sports' magazine France Football. PSG have announced that they will hold a press conference on Tuesday where it is believed that the South American marksman will be officially unveiled. According to the report the French giants will splash out 64 million euros to bring Cavani, a top target also for Real Madrid and Chelsea, from Napoli. This a new record for the Ligue 1, breaking the one set a few weeks ago by Monaco who signed Colombian striker Radamel Falcao for a deal estimated at 60 million euros. Cavani who was the Serie A top scorer last season with 29 goals is set to form a devastating striking pair alongside with Zlatan Ibrahimovic who bagged 33 goals for PSG last season.
