Algeria's Slimani snubs Arab move for Europe
The rising Algerian striker ruled out the possibility of joining Ahly, Ismaily or another Arab club, preferring to start a career in Europe

Algeria's striker Islam Slimani confirmed on Thursday that he is targeting a European move, ruling out the possibility of playing in an Arab league.
The 24-year-old, who produced a string of strong displays with the Algerian national team this season, has been strongly linked with a move to Egyptian sides Ahly and Ismaily, who have shown interest on the player.
Tunisia's giants Esperance de Tunis and Club Africain have also expressed their desire to acquire the player's services.
Slimani scored twice for Algeria in last week's 3-1 win over Benin in a World Cup qualifier.
"I will not play in an Arab league," Slimani told elbotola website on Thursday.
"I am targeting a European move. Money is not important for me. I am looking to improve myself; that's why I prefer Europe," he said.
The CR Belouizdad striker, who is on duty with the Algerian national team, confirmed having some offers from French clubs, saying that the next season will see the start of his career in Europe.
"I got some offers from clubs in France, but now I am on duty with Algeria and I want to concentrate on my national team in the World Cup qualifiers."
"We are looking to reach the 2014 World Cup. It is my dream and I am sure that we will make it."
With two matches remaining in the World Cup qualifiers, Algeria are close to reaching the final phase as they top Group H with nine points, two clear of second-placed Mali.
Rwanda will host Algeria in match day five of Group H on Sunday.
