The Minister of Defence Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi will give his testimony on Tuesday in the criminal case of destruction of documents of State Security Apparatus in 2011, reported Al-Hayat satelite channel on Monday. Former head of the now-disbanded State Security Apparatus, Hassan Abdel-Rahman, along with 40 police officials, are facing accusations of giving instructions to destroy state security documents in the aftermath of the January 25 revolution. The armed forces seized control of the state security headquarters across the country in early March, 2011 after revolutionaries stormed State Security headquarters in Cairo and Alexandria to uncover atrocities committed by the notorious repressive apparatus.
