Egypt's bourse gained at midday trading on Tuesday as optimism resulting from the cancellation of stock market taxes continues to bolster investment sentiment. The main EGX30 gained 1.26 percent two hours into the session to trade around the 5,177 points. The broader EGX70 index gained 1.84 percent. An aide to the finance minister said on Monday Egypt has decided to scrap plans to tax stock market dividends and mergers and acquisitions. The bourse rebounded on the news with the benchmark index gaining 1.49 percent on Monday.
