Ahly injured skipper Ghaly out of African squad
Hossam Ghaly will not be registered in Ahly's African squad, Ahly coach confirms while newly-signed Ahmed Abdel-Zaher appeared in Tuesday trainings

Ahly captain, defender Hossam Ghaly is confirmed to miss the Reds' squad for the African Champions League.
“Ghaly will not be registered continentally as his rehabilitation will take a long time,” the African Champions manager Hossam EL-Badry was quoted as saying on the club's official website.
The 31-year-old former Tottenham Hotspur has undergone a surgery in Germany after sustaining a rupture in his anterior knee ligament during his side's 2-1 win over Sanfrecce Hiroshima in a Club World Cup last month.
Ghaly's injury came as a blow, not only for his club, but also for Egypt's national team, which is currently bracing for a 2014 World Cup qualifier against Zimbabwe next march.
Abdel-Zaher joins trainings
During Tuesday morning training session, Ahly players have warmly welcomed their new teammate, striker Ahmed Abdel-Zaher who has just moved from ENPPI.
The joint top scorer of the Egyptian Premier League in the 2010-11 season with 13 goals, also made few appearances with Egypt's senior team under former manager Hassan Shehata.
