Ahly in talks with Ghana's Opoku
Ahly are close to signing Ghana striker Agyemang Opoku when the winter transfer window reopens

Ahly will hand Ghana striker Agyemang Opoku a trial at the Cairo giants headquarters in a step towards signing him in January if he passes technical and medical tests.
"Ghana's Opoku will undergo a trial at Ahly ahead of a likely transfer in January," Ahly football director Sayed Abdel-Hafiz told the club's website Thursday.
The 23-year-old Opoku was part of Ghana U-20 national team squad that crowned the 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup as well as helping the Black Stars senior team attain third place in the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations.
"Opoku will arrive Cairo within the coming few days, as coach El-Badry is eager to support the team's frontline ahead of the new season," Abdel-Hafiz added.
Opoku is currently a free agent after his contract with Bulgarian side Levski Sofia expired 27 October 2012.
The new season kicks off 2 February. Ahly needs to bolster its forwards, especially after loaning out Ivorian striker Oussou Konan and hinting at offloading Mauritania striker Dominique Da Silva.
The Red Devils recently stopped talks with Zimbabwe striker Edward Sadomba due to what was deemed as the player's "unreasonable demands."
