Unreasonable demands stop Ahly interest in Zimbabwe striker Sadomba
The Cairo giants are upset with the way the negotiations took with the player, while no clubs have shown interest in signing Dominique Da Silva until now

Egypt's Ahly is not interested any more in signing Zimbabwe striker Edward Sadomba in the January transfer window, the Cairo giants announced on Wednesday.
African Champions Ahly is searching for a new striker and Sadomba, who plays for Sudanese side Al-Hilal, was one of their targets especially as he finished this year's CAF Confederation Cup as the joint top scorer with five goals. He was also the Champions League top scorer last year.
"We are not interested in signing Sadomba any more as there were too many demands during the negotiations," Ahly's marketing manager Magdy Tolba told the club's official website.
"We are currently choosing from some other African strikers," he added.
Ahly is currently preparing for the Egyptian Premier League season, which will start on 2 February and the technical staff headed by Hossam El-Badry hopes to strengthen the frontline during the current transfer window.
No official offers for Da Silva
The Red Devils recently announced that Mauritania striker Dominique Da Silva is free to leave after an unsuccessful 18-month spell at the club, but he didn't receive any offers until now.
Da Silva was lured by the Red Devils in the summer of 2011 from Tunisian side Sfaxien after impressing former boss Manuel Jose with his strength and speed.
"Until now, we didn't receive any official offers for Da Silva or any of his teammates," explained Tolba.
The former Tunisia's Sfaxien player will be the second foreign-based player to exit the seven-time African champions after Ivorian striker Oussou Konan, who was loaned out to Saudi side Hajer.
