Ghanaian striker Agyemang Opoku will arrive in Cairo on Tuesday to begin his trial with African champions Ahly, the Egyptian giants announced on Monday. "Opoku will begin a three-day trial with the club starting from Tuesday," Ahly announced in a statement on their official website. "The player will be monitored by the technical staff to determine whether or not he will add something to the team's frontline," the statement added. The 23-year-old, who previously played for Tunisia's Sfaxien and Qatar's Al-Saad, is now a free agent after parting ways with Bulgaria's Levski Sofia. The Cairo giants, who recently clinched their seventh African Champions League title, are now preparing for next month's Club World Cup in Japan.
