Ghana's football association announced on Tuesday that the Black Stars will meet Tunisia in a friendly in preparation for next year's African Cup of Nations, which will start on 19 January. The match will be played on 6 January in Abu Dhabi, where the Black Stars will hold a pre-tournament training camp. "As part of our preparations for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations we have agreed to play Tunisia in a friendly in January," GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi said on the federation's official website on Tuesday. "The match will be played in Abu Dhabi where Ghana will be camping for the tournament. "We want to leave no stone unturned in our preparation, so a match against one of the top sides in Africa like Tunisia will give the Black Stars the needed test for the Nations Cup." The four-time African champions are perennial title contenders and they are looking to improve on their disappointing fourth-place finish in this year's Nations Cup. Ghana were drawn in Group B along with DR Congo, Mali and Niger, while Tunisia were paired in what is already becoming known as the ‘Group of Death' (Group D) alongside Ivory Coast, Algeria and Togo.
