Complete works of Arthur Rimbaud,Trans: Rifaat Sallam, Cairo: GEBO. 2012.650pp. The Egyptian General Book Organisation (GEBO) has released an Arabic edition of the complete works of the French poetArthur Rimbaud(1854 –1891).The works were translated and introduced by the Egyptian translator, Rifaat Sallam. The GEBO released the complete works in one volume of 650 pages, including a chapter titled 'Rimbaud's Faces', shedding light on his life from his early childhood until his death. The book has three prefaces. The first is by the translator about the challenges he faced when translating the book. The second includes a biography of the poet and his poetical transformation. The third was written by his friend, the French poet Paul Verlaine. The poetry begins with Rimbaud's scholastic poems drawn from his notes, which he wrote as homework in his rhetoric class at school. The rest of his works, including the Evangelic Prose, Prose, and Deserts of Love, are then included.
