An appeal against the dissolution of the People's Assembly (lower house of parliament) has been dropped following President Morsi's decree that reinstated the body. The High Administrative Court adjourned the case on Monday after MPs withdrew their appeal. Newly elected President Mohamed Morsi on Sunday issued a decree revoking the decision by the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF) to dissolve parliament after it was deemed unconstitutional by the High Constitutional Court. Several cases are still pending at the High Administrative Court, including an appeal against the parliament-chosen constituent assembly and an appeal against the SCAF-issued constitutional addendum, both due to begin on 10 July.
