Tunisia claimed a 2-1 home victory over Cape Verde on Saturday to maintain their perfect start to the 2014 World Cup qualifiers on Saturday. A 14th-minute goal from Saber Khalifa gave Tunisia an early lead but Odaïr Fortes scored against the run of play to bring lowly Cape Verde level 10 minutes later. Tunisia striker Essam Jemaa notched home after the restart to hand the Carthage Eagles all three points, a win which put them on top of the group with six points. Second-placed Sierra Leone played out a 2-2 draw with Equatorial Guinea in the other Group B game. Sierra Leone have four points, three ahead of third-placed Equatorial Guinea.
