Egyptian goalkeeper Ahmed El-Shennawy trained for the first time on Wednesday with team B of Real Betis, ahead of a one week trial with the Spanish side. According to the Spanish media, El-Shennawy, who passed his medical test on Tuesday, will be monitored during the week by Real Betis' goalkeeping coach Pedro Illanes, before taking a final decision concerning a possible move to the Liga side this summer. El-Shennawy, who signed a five-year contract with Masry earlier this season, is one of the hottest talents in Egypt. The 21-year-old goalkeeper was forced to leave the club after it was suspended for a year and relegated to the second division, following the Port Said Stadium disaster which left more than 70 killed.
