Veteran winger Walid Soliman back for Ahly ahead of Merreikh clash

Veteran winger Walid Soliman was included in Ahly's squad for Saturday's African Champions League game away to Sudanese giants Merreikh following more than two months on the sidelines.
Soliman has been out of action since picking up an injury in January, which ruled him out of Ahly's FIFA Club World Cup campaign as well as three vital Champions League matches.
Although the 36-year-old is no longer a regular starter, his contributions when he comes off the bench always come in handy for Ahly.
Before suffering the injury, Soliman had scored four goals in six appearances in all competitions.
His return will increase coach Pitso Mosimane's attacking options as he seeks to secure Ahly's qualification for the Champions League quarters against Merreikh.
The Red Devils are second in Group A with seven points, three behind leaders Simba of Tanzania and four clear of third-placed Vita Club of the DR Congo. Merreikh lie at the bottom with a solitary point.
Defending champions Ahly will book a last-eight berth with one match to spare in the group if they beat Merreikh away from home. The team flew to Sudan on Wednesday.
