Sun 21, 6pm: A seminar in French by Asma Lamrabet with optical translation into Arabic on the issue of women which remains a central issue at the heart of contemporary discussions in the Arab-Islamic world in general, and Islamic reform in particular. Lamrabet is a doctor and researcher. She currently manages the Gender Chair at the Euro-Arab Foundation at the University of Granada, Morocco and is a member of the Scientific Committee of the National Institute of Human Rights in Morocco. She has published several books that have been translated into different languages, including Islam and Women: Controversial Issues by Gallimar Folio Publishing House, Grand Atlas Award 2017.
