She holds a PhD in Egyptology from the Sorbonne University - Paris and a former resident researcher of the Thier Foundation.
She specializes in the Third Intermediate Period and her research focuses on history, society, and funerary furnishings during the first millennium BC.

Tues 15, 6pm: “The French Institute of Oriental Archaeology:140 Years of Research, Cooperation and Innovation in Egypt”, a seminar by Laurent Colon, Director of the Institute. Established on 28 December 1880, the institute celebrates its 140th anniversary at the end of the year. Colon introduces the history of this ancient institution and will provide a quick overview of the work its currently carrying out, a selection of emerging research topics, recent discoveries and innovative technologies used in excavation sites. On this occasion, The French Excavations in Egypt book, now available in English and Arabic will be available for purchase (with simultaneous translation from French into Arabic).


Italian Cultural Institute
Tues 15, 5pm (online): “One Story, Many Stories. Guide to Reading Gianni Rodari” webinar celebrates the centenary of the birth of journalist and children writer Gianni Rodari (23 October 1920 - 14 April 1980). The Institute, in collaboration with the Schools Office of the Embassy, organises an online study on Rodari's writings, with a contribution by prof. Pino Boero.
