The Italian Cultural Institute Part of the activities of the Twentieth edition of the Italian Language Week in the World, the virtual exhibition on the Italian comics organised by “Lucca Comics”, the largest international festival of painting, taking place in Lucca, Tuscany, will showcase the historical and contemporary production of the Italian comics. The launch of video-technology readings of Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy in Arabic, which the Italian Institute in Cairo prepared exclusively for the audience wishing to approach and even stand on the poetic verses of the great poet on the occasion of marking Dante's coming annual death anniversary.

The show started out as an attempt to create a visual platform to promote and encourage young Egypt-based female artists and assist them in their artistic journey. This year's exhibition gathers together original and contrasting works that all share a common intimacy and a symbolic language open to interpretation, as well as the ability to encompass different dimensions and realities (25 October- 26 November).
