Mahmoud Mokhtar Culture Centre 5 Tahrir St, beside Cairo Sporting Club, Tel 02 2735 1123 Isis Hall “Deep Colours of the Mediterranean Sea”, a photo exhibition by ISPRA organized under the auspices of the Italian Embassy in Cairo. It shows 36 photos collected by ROV (Remotely operated vehicle) through over 50 oceanographic cruises in 900 dive sites along the Italian coast exploring the beauty and the biodiversity of the Mediterranean Sea at the depths between 50- 400m. The Exhibition is a co-production by Ré Art Projects and Peacock for Art (7-14 May).

It includes works by Amr Kafrawy, Hany Rashed, Hisham El-Zeiny, Nadia Mounir and others. Through collage, photographs and paintings, these artists construct their unique interpretations of what the city means. Through the curious gaze and introspective gaze of these artists, the public can explore the elusive nature of this sprawling capital (closing 17 May).
