Harras El-Hodoud international defender Ahmed 'Ouka' Said has signed a three-year contract with Wadi Degla, the player said on Thursday. ''My transfer to Degla is a step on my way to move to Belgian side Lierse in the future,'' Ouka told Ahram Online on Thursday. Both Egyptian side Wadi Degla and Lierse are owned by Egyptian businessman Magued Sami and several players from the two clubs have made a switch, including Mohamed Abdel-Wahed and William Mensah. The 28-year-old defender, whose contract with Harras El-Hodoud will expire this summer, was linked to an anticipated move to Ahly, but the player preferred Degla which will open the door to Europe.
