Egypt Olympic coach Hany Ramzy have talked with official from the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) about his interest in playing more friendly games amid the team's preparations for the 2012 London Olympics. “The association have contacted Italy and Uruguay already to organize friendlies soon,” EFA official told the DPA Monday. The Under-23 Pharaohs are offering to play the Azzurri twice between 26 and 6 June and want Uruguay to host a game with them and another with Paraguay during the same time. Egypt, who defeated Swiss side Basel 4-3 in a friendly on Friday, were hosted by Spain earlier were they lost 3-1. The Olympic team qualified to the Olympics after 20 years of absence, their last appearance was in 1992 in Barcelona, where they lost against Spain and Qatar, though they defeated Colombia and failed to progress beyond the group stage.
