Vivaldi on Valentine's: To the tune of a string orchestra
El Sawy's String Orchestra - conducted by Mohamed Saad Basha - will perform compositions by Vivaldi and Tchaikovsky on Tuesday's special day

The orchestra will perform Four Seasons and Spring (La Primavera) from Vivaldi's known set of violin concertosand Tchaikovsky's string sextet Souvenir de Florence.
The violin soloist of the evening will be Hassan Sharara.
El Sawy's String Orchestra was formed in October 2010 with the aim of promoting classical music at El Sawy Culturewheel (El Sakia), a location that mainly offers pop and rock concerts. Through the string orchestras activities, young people gain easy access to classical music values.
