Street screening of Tahrir 2011
The documentary film Tahrir 2011: The Good, The Bad and The Politician will be screened in the street a day before January 25 Revolution's anniversary

As the Kazeboon initiative has paved the way for street screenings, the documentary film Tahrir 2011: The Good, The Bad and The Politician will be screened in front of the Merit Publishing House next Tuesday, 24 January, a day before the anticipated wave of protests.
The film, directed by three filmmakers, Tamer Ezzat, Ayten Amin and Amr Salama, shows three sides of the revolution.
“The Good” highlights the revolutionaries throughout the 18 days that led to Mubarak's ouster, “The Bad” features interviews with four different policemen and their views on the brutality enforced against protesters, and “The Politician” takes a satirical look at how and why Mubarak became a dictator.
Tahrir 2011 has already been screened at a number of international film festivals, including the 68th Venice Film Festival, the 36th Toronto International Film Festival, and the Abu Dhabi Film Festival.
The screening starts at 7pm in front of Merit Publishing House at 6 Kasr El Nil street.
