Ahly midfielder Mohamed Shawky will be unable to play for at least three weeks due to an injury he sustained during Saturday's 3-1 win over Smouha in day 14 of the Egyptian Premier League. “Shawky is under an individual rehabilitation program and he will need at least three weeks to get back to the team's trainings,” Ahly team doctor Ehab Ali was quoted as saying on the club's official website. However, the reappearance of recovering star midfielder Mohamed Barakat and striker Emad Meteb for Wednesday's game against Ittihad El-Shorta is still doubtful. “We will decide Tuesday whether we will include Baraket and Meteb in the Shorta squad or not,” the doctor added. The Red Castle, who are bidding for their eighth successive league title are currently second in the table with 30 points, one behind leaders Haras El-Hodoud.
