The English player earned his second victory in the competition after beating Karim Darwish 2-0 (11-6, 11-5) on Wednesday. In the other group four-time World champion Amr Shabana from Egypt defeated Peter Barker 2-1 (7-11, 11-8, 11-7) in the group's opener on Wednesday.
