Ahly football director Sayed Abdel-Hafiz has admitted that Saturday's friendly with Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich will not be easy. “It's a really important game for us as we always want to meet big international teams. It will be tough for us but we will do our best to deliver a good performance,” Abdel-Hafiz told the club's official website. Bayern are the most successful team in the Bundesliga. They hold the 2001 European Champion League trophy and lost to Inter Milan in the 2010 final. Despite their busy schedule, the winners of six African Champions League titles are determined “to please the fans against Bayern,” said Abdel-Hafiz. The Egyptian champions, who have a domestic clash against El-Geish on Thursday, are flying on Friday to the Qatari capital, Doha, to play the German side in a friendly before they return on Sunday to prepare for the match with El-Entag El-Harby on 11 January. Bayern, who are currently leading the German league with 37 points, three more than second placed Borussia Dortmund, includes many outstanding players, including Arjen Robben, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Franck Ribery, but Ahly's Mohamed Abou-Trieka, Wael Goma'a, Mohamed Barakat, Abdullah El-Said are intending to make it difficult for them. Ahly are competing for their eighth successive league title and are currently third with 23 points, five behind league leaders Haras El-Hodoud.
