El-Shennawy represents Egypt at CAF 2011 Awards
Masry goalkeeper makes shortlist for this year's Young African Footballer of the Year

Egypt U-23 and Masry goalkeeper Ahmed El-Shennawy has been included on the shortlist for 2011's Young African Footballer of the Year.
After his strong performance in the U-23 African Championship, Masry goalkeeper Ahmed El-Shennawy has been included by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) on the list for 2011's Most Promising Talent of the Year.
Tottenham and Ivory Coast star Souleymane Coulibaly, along with Venlo's Ahmed Musa of Nigeria, have also been named on the CAF's list of most talented youngsters on the continent.
The winner will be revealed at an Awards Gala scheduled for Thursday, December 22 at the Banquet Hall, State House in Accra, Ghana. The award ceremony is meant to reward excellence in African football both on and off the pitch.
It will be the third time for Ghanaian capital Accra to host the annual event, having also hosted the awards in 2006 and 2009.
