Warmer weather is forecast across Egypt through next week, as temperatures are expected to gradually rise by 3-5 degrees Celsius over the next five days, Egypt's Meteorlogical Authority said. Tempratures are expected to gradually rise starting Friday, to reach highest levels through the week on Monday through Wednesday, said the head of the authority on Thursday. Highs on those days are forecast at 26-28 C in Cairo and the Nile Delta and between 24-26 C along the north coast. Upper Egypt, which is usually the country's warmer region, will see highs of 27-29 C in the northern part and 29-32 C in the southern part. Saturday is expected to see highs of 23 C in Cairo and the Nile Delta and lows of 10 C, while cities along the country's Mediterranean coast will predict slightly colder highs of 21 C and lows of 10-12 C. Upper Egypt is expected to see highs of 24 C and 29 C and lows of 9 C and 11 C in the northern part and southern part respectively.
