Egypt's weather is forecast to remain in the coming two days boiling in daytime and warm at night as a heat wave hit the country Saturday. However, the climate is predicted to turn thundery and rainy by Wednesday and Thursday, Wahid Soudi, spokesperson of Egypt's Meteorological Authority, said.
The scorching climate is expected to end Tuesday, with temperatures down from 40 Celsius Sunday to 36 Celsius Monday and then 34 Celsius Tuesday during the day in Cairo and the Nile Delta governorates.
At night, the temperatures will fall from 27 Celsius to 23 Celsius to 21 Celsius on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday respectively.
“By Wednesday and Thursday, rainfall is expected along with thunder over most of the nation's regions, due to clouds come from Tropics,” Soudi told Ahram Online.
Soudi added that rainfall will be particularly heavy in Sinai and Upper Egypt.
Temperatures are expected to range between 24 Celsius and 28 Celsius during noon and between 17 Celsius and 18 Celsius by night.
Temperatures are 5 Celsius higher in Upper Egypt provinces.
