Autumn weather returning across Egypt on Monday

Lower temperatures are expected in Egypt's northern cities on Monday, with a six-degree drop in Cairo reaching highs of 27 degrees Celsius and lows of 24, state news agency MENA reported on Sunday.
The northern coastal cities of Alexandria and Marsa Matrouh will see highs of 26 and 25 degrees and lows of 21 and 20 respectively.
A lesser decrease in temperature is expected in Upper Egypt's Luxor and Aswan during the day time, with highs of 35 and 37 degrees respectively, while a more significant drop is expected in the evening with lows of 23 and 24 respectively.
The Red Sea resorts of Sharm El-Sheikh and Hurghada will experience highs of 32 and 33 and lows of 25 and 24 respectively.
The touristic Sinai town of Saint Catherine will see colder weather with highs of 25 and lows of 17.
Moderately difficult navigation is expected on the Mediterranean and Red seas, with waves reaching 2 to 2.5 meters in height.
The average temperature in Egypt during the fall month of October hovers around highs of 29.8 and lows of 18.6.
Several short-lived heat waves have his Egypt this October, reaching highs of 35 in Cairo.
