Uganda captain Denis Onyango has expressed confidence ahead of two anticipated clashes against Egypt in the African qualifiers for the 2018 World Cup.
The two sides will meet twice; on Thursday in Kampala and five days later in Alexandria.
"We can handle them. This is the World Cup qualifier, and every player would love to be at the World Cup," Onyango was quoted as saying by ESPN on Wednesday.
The skipper also praised the Pharaohs' England Premier League star attacking-midfielder duo in Liverpool's Mohamed Salah and Arsenal's Mohamed Elneny.
"[Elneny and Salah] are very skilled players who bring lots of experience from their teams in England, and we must keep them under close watch," Onyango said.
"It's going to be war in Kampala because we need the three points before we travel to Egypt."
Topping Group E with six points, the Pharaohs are looking for a victory in the Ugandan capital to boost their qualification chances, while Ghana only gained one point from a possible six.
