Egyptian winger Ahmed Elmohamady completed his move to championship side Aston Villa from Hull City on Wednesday. "Aston Villa Football Club are pleased to confirm the signing of Ahmed Elmohamady on a three-year deal," read a statement on Aston Villa's official website on Wednesday. Elmohamady has expressed delight at joining Aston Villa, adding he will do his best to help his new side rejoin the Premier League. “Aston Villa is a great club and I am thrilled to join – it's one of the very biggest clubs in England and its history and tradition is there for all to see," the Egyptian winger told the club's official website after the signing. “It's a great time to join too as we look for promotion to the Premier League. I will give absolutely everything to help us achieve that goal," he added. "I know first hand what it takes to win a promotion and I want that feeling again.” The former ENPPI winger joined Hull City in 2013 from Sunderland, making 218 appearances that included the 2014 FA Cup defeat to Arsenal. Elmohamady, who has 73 caps, was a member of the Pharaohs' squad that lost the Nations Cup final to Cameroon in February.
