Ismaily were held to a 1-1 draw by El-Entag El-Harby to drop crucial points in their title race. Enppi and Talae Al-Gaish stuck late to clinch victories over Haras El-Hodoud and Ittihad El-Shorta
A late strike by Malian Bakary Coulibaly in the 89thminute earned El-Entag El-Harby a precious 1-1 home draw against title contender Ismaily on Saturday.
The hosts were reduced to only 10 men on the half-hour mark as Ahmed Omran was shown the red card for a harsh foul on Ismaily's midfielder Abdallah Al-Shahat.
The Dervishes' skipper Mohamed Soliman "Homos" converted his side's domination when he struck from close range in the 53rdminute.
The visitors kept on pressing but failed to secure their win as Ahmed Ali, Abdallah Al-Said and Mohamed Mohsen Abou-Greisha wasted clear chances on goal.
They paid for it immediately when late substitute Coulibaly stuck from 20 yards to clinch a precious point for his team in the dying minutes of the game.
Ismaily are still second with 26 points, four behind leaders Zamalek who have a game in hand.
But the most exciting game of the week was in Alexandria as Enppi defeated Haras El-Hodoud 3-2. The hosts were able to come back twice from behind through Ahmed Salama, at 45 minutes, and Pape N'Diaye, at 90minutes, but still couldn't get any points from the game as Walid Soliman netted twice at 43minutesand 86minutesand Mohamed Galal, 90minutes, also got his name on the scoresheet.
In Cairo, former Egypt international forward Abdel-Sattar Sabri scored a late winner, 86minutes, to clinch a crucial victory for Talae Al-Gaish against Ittihad El-Shorta 1-0, lifting them to 10thplace on the table with 17 points.
