Tunisia didn't show qualities against Burkina Faso, says coach
Published in Ahram Online on 03 - 02 - 2018

Tunisia coach Henryk Kasperczak said his side didn't deliver the targeted performance against Burkina Faso in the quarterfinals of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations due to fatigue.
"We did not show our qualities. We did not possess the rage to win," Kasperczak said after Saturday's game.
Burkina Faso secured a place in the semifinals eliminating the North African team out of the Gabon tournament after a 2-0 win.
Aristide Bance scored the killer from a free kick in the 81st minute, three minutes before Prejuce Nakoulma settled the result.
"We were a little tired, the physical freshness was not perfect; we did not play quickly enough when attacking," Kasperczak added.
In the group stage, Tunisia bounced back from a 2-0 frustrating start against Senegal, winning two games against Algeria 2-1 and Zimbabwe 4-2 respectively. They rested a day less than Burkina Faso whose last match at the group stage was on Sunday.
"Since winning the title for the only time in 2004 when hosts, Tunisia reached five quarterfinals and lost them all," the CAF official website stated.
Burkina Faso will be awaiting the winner of the Egypt-Morocco game Sunday, subsequently meeting them in the semis.
