The second edition of Zawya's Short Film Festival is due to take place at art-house cinema Zawya in downtown Cairo between 26 and 28 January', featuring 27 short films by Egyptian directors and Egypt-based directors. The films will also compete for a total of four awards which are: the Red Star Films Best Film Award (EGP 15,000 EGP), the Misr International Films Best Director Award (EGP 10,000 EGP), the Film Clinic Jury Prize (EGYP 10,000 EGP), and the Birthmark Films Best Screenplay Award (EGP 5000).
