Jordanian musician to perform his latest album 'As Blue As The Rivers of Amman' on 3 November

Egypt's most active cultural foundation, Al-Mawred Al-Thaqafy (Cultural Resourse) opens its autumn and winter programme with Arabic tunes at the Geneina Theatre, featuring the internationally renowned Jordanian musician Yacoub Abu Ghosh on Thursday, 3 November.
Considered one of the pioneers of alternative music in Jordan, Abu Ghosh will present his latest album, ‘As Blue As The Rivers of Amman' at his concert. The songs on the album reflect the creative vision of the artist and his ability to create deep influences by mixing local and regional Arabic musical heritage with the pulse and sounds of modern arrangements of the global musical culture.
Abu Ghosh's contribution to the Jordanian pop-culture scene for more than a decade, includes the introduction of the musical group Sign of Thyme, with whom he released two highly acclaimed albums ‘Like All People' and ‘Zad'.
