After beating big guns Maqassa 1-0 in the 13th matchday of the Egyptian Premier League on Sunday, Ahly coach Hossam El-Badry said he is working hard with his team to win the remaining four games of the first round to keep the league title. "We have to win the Smouha, ENPPI, Masry and Zamalek games; it's going to take a big step to save the league title," El-Badry said in the post-Maqassa game press conference. Ahly cemented their position on top of the teams' table with 35 points, seven ahead of second-placed Maqassa who still have a rescheduled game to play against Zamalek. "We achieved an important victory against Maqassa — our current opponent in the table's lead," El-Badry added. "We defended well in the first half while in the second we kept control of the ball, but lost several score chances against Maqassa," the Ahly coach said. The title holders, Ahly still have four remaining games in the first round of the Egyptian Premier League against top flights Smouha, ENPPI, Masry and Zamalek.
